Breast augmentation is one of the most common cosmetic procedures performed today. It has been proven to be extremely safe with a very high patient satisfaction rate. We perform the surgery in our fully accredited, on site operating suite. Our overhead is kept low so we can offer this procedure at a reasonable rate.

Breast augmentation is performed in women who naturally have small breasts and in women who have had children and want to restore their pre-pregnancy look.

In some women a breast lift may be a better option if there is marked ptosis (sagging). Recovery time is usually one week with resumption of exercise after one month.

We offer both saline and silicone implants and 50% of our practice is devoted to breast procedures.

However as popular as breast augmentations are there are still risks and complications that can be distressing just like any other surgical procedure. Some of the possible risks or complications can be infections, capsule contracture, bleeding, asymmetry, problems with mammograms, calcification, and deflation. The surgery consultant will go more into detail of the possible risks and complications that can occur and what can be done to solve the problem if it does occur.
